Emil Aleksiev
born on 12 May 1959 in Skopje. He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy, Institute of Art History and Archaeology in Skopje in 1987 and received his MA degree in Art History in 1998. He was appointed Director of the Museum of Modern Art in Skopje in 2001.
As an expert in modern art, Emil Aleksiev has worked on research projects, individual projects, organization of exhibitions and cultural events. He has published over one hundred essays, reviews and texts on the theory.
