Helena Pivec
has studied art history at the Faculty of Philosophy
of the University of Ljubljana.
Since 1995 she has been involved as a fine arts consultant and editor
of the catalogues and newsletter in theatre MUZEUM 1993-2000 ( performances
"Lo Scrittore", "Emilija", "Girl and a Doublebass",
"Paracelsus & Frankenstein" and a synthesis performance
"all together now!«). As a curator she co-operated in some group
exhibitions "Stereo-Tip" (City Gallery, 1995), "Urbanaria
I,II" (the city of Ljubljana, 1994-1996). In 1998 she initiated serendipity
international muzeum projects and curated the first project Peter Greenaway
in Ljubljana (theory-fine arts installation-film) and edited "Peter
Greenaway's Book" and a documentary book "A Map to Paradise
from Ljubljana." Her working experience comprises work at Soros Center
for Contemporary Arts - Ljubljana and at Open Society Institute - Slovenia
(1993-2000), covering the field of arts and culture. Since 2000 she has
been working at Muzeum as international projects curator.
